Products that are notoriously difficult to keep out of the ocean may require a ban or product redesign. California is currently tied up in a plastic-bag controversy. There are enough signatures to put a referendum to the statewide bag ban on the November 2016 ballot because plastic bags are real environmental hazards. Don't miss this important event.
